For this blog, even if it's only a short excerpt or thought from some reading or a reflection on a conversation with a student; how can we not take time to share our learning and musings with our peers, our colleagues, and our friends. If learning and leading is about developing relationships, then in many ways, this blog allows us to develop a relationship with our readers. It helps people to see us as learners, to see how we think, reflect and process the information that we gather on a daily basis. As staff members read these posts I think they get to know each of us a little better, to understand something of our framework for decision making and to . I think 15-30 minutes a week is a worthwhile investment.
So I guess the whole point of this post, and in answer to the question in the title, is YES, I will commit. I will re-commit to being on-time and consistent in my posts, even if they are just a short musing or anecdote that I feel helps you, the reader, to learn more about me, about how I think, and about the learner and leader I am trying to be/become.
